Are you an experienced Recruitment Consultant tired of working for a big business and seeing most of your fees go to your employer or its shareholders? There is another way!

Associate Recruitment Consultants

At Corvus we like to do things differently and that's why we created our (unique to Northern Ireland) Associate model which allows you, an experienced recruiter, to run your own business under the Corvus brand and systems. This innovative way of working allows you to run your own recruitment business but with the comfort of our brand, established relationships, access to job boards, ATS, email, in-house marketing executive, invoicing and credit control! You'll also be supported in delivering your own business plan by our directors, all with a vastly higher share of each placement you make.

Our Associate model is highly attractive to senior recruiters who have little room to progress in their current roles or are fed up with head office KPIs. It's also an excellent model for Consultants who have aspirations to set up their own business but either don't want to risk going it alone or are put off by the thought of setting up a website, getting slots on job boards, chasing invoices etc.

You may even be running your own small agency but want to be part of a team where you'll get the benefit of celebrating the highs (and supported through the lows!) of recruitment along with ongoing professional development in terms of training and new industry developments. As a member of the team you will participate in weekly meetings, nights out etc. and working closely with the Directors in a supported environment but with the flexibility of managing your own diary and activities. A bit about us

Our team is a blend of 8 Staff and Associates who are all specialist recruiters within their fields and our approach is that relationships matter more than KPIs along with mutual accountability. We are passionate about our Values and have an ambitious vision for growth. We're a niche recruitment consultancy (predominantly permanent recruitment with some contractors/temps) and we're looking to hire experienced Associate Recruiters who are highly motivated, self-sufficient, customer-focused and who always strive to "do the right thing"!

So, what will you do doing?

You'll still be a recruiter; there's nothing too earth shattering here! However, we do like to do things a bit differently. You'll be an integral part of our ongoing success and will set your own objectives, targets and business plan in conjunction with the Directors. We like to work in the most effective way for our different markets so a tailored approach is good for you and good for us (as well as for your clients and candidates).

You can expect to develop new business, look after our existing clients, attract top talent and manage the recruitment process from end to end. We're all ideas people so if you are independent, creative, positive, enthusiastic with the personality and the focus to follow through on your plans, Corvus is the place for you.

We're looking for experienced Associates with a successful track record in a specialist area, ideally Digital & IT, Sales & Management, Accountancy & Finance or Business Support (HR/Admin) along with the ambition & drive to really forge ahead. You'll be the sort of person that people love to work with (fun, supportive, professional and no drama) and bring new ideas to the table as well as being open to trying things differently!

The necessary stuff

We are looking for Associates who are self-managing and can look after the full recruitment lifecycle… so you will be an experienced recruiter who can win business and develop relationships. We are quality driven and you will need to be strong on processes and making sure the ATS is updated to help maximise your billing potential!
